Position Overview

The Rural Business Consultant will play a crucial role in delivering expert guidance to farmers, helping them optimise their operations and secure relevant grant schemes. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while also engaging directly with clients on their farms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic business advice to agricultural clients

• Support clients with Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) applications

• Identify and secure relevant grant schemes for clients

• Analyse farm accounts to provide actionable insights

• Explore and recommend farm diversification opportunities

• Collaborate with agronomists to deliver comprehensive advice

Requirements

• Practical experience in farm business management

• Strong relationship-building skills with farmers

• Ability to work independently and remotely

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and grants

• Passion for the agricultural industry
