General Worker/ Machinery Operator

Cornish Lithium have an opportunity for the above position at our Redruth site in Cornwall.

The position would suit someone with agricultural or groundworks experience to assist the technical team at drill sites and workshops across Cornwall. Under the direction of the lead technician carrying out the following tasks but not limited to-

Job responsibilities

  • Upkeep of site equipment and machines
  • Maintenance inspections of equipment for suitability to operate.
  •  On site Breakdown support
  • Ongoing improvement projects.
  • Building maintenance and repairs.
  • Moving of site equipment with telehandler / loader
  • Loading / unloading of deliveries with forklift.
  • Assist drill site operations with machinery operation.

Suitable experience

  • Operation of agricultural equipment (Telehandler/tractor loader)
  • Trailer haulage experience (bale / corn / dung cart).
  • Mechanical knowledge of generators / machines.
  • Maintenance knowledge of machinery.
  • Experience of pumps / motors fitting and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling/COSHH
  • First Aid
  • Water hydraulics and piping/hose hook-up and layout

Valid UK driving licence is required.
